I live in North Bay and haven't been on this Cruise for many many years. Well we took 3 couples out for a day Cruise that had come to visit us. What a great day. The tour was great . The staff was very friendly and informative. One of our guests from Wisconsin even got to meet the captain and pilot the boat. When departing the boat don't miss the ice cream store on the dock
– Dennis H., TripAdvisorWe took the sunset dinner cruise it was great. The food was perfect we had the Rib eye steak it was cooked just as we ordered it... You pre order your meal when you book the cruise. The view from our table was amazing we took a lot of great sunset pictures. The staff was great the Captain asked if anyone wanted to tour the wheel house to come up and he would explain it he let each person that wanted to steer the ship...
– Rick C., TripAdvisorHad an absolutely wonderful time out on the water. Staff were friendly, especially the captain and co-captain. Just the right length of time to keep the kiddies interested. Learned some fascinating local trivia and history. Commentary was sporadic meaning there was plenty of time to gaze, chit chat and generally enjoy the outing. Highly recommend it.
– Lana R., TripAdvisorWent on the 4 hour cruise. The cruise itself is very relaxing. There are three decks to view from and you can go from one deck to the other. The top deck is not covered but the lower decks are covered with tables and chairs. On the bottom deck there was live music which was enjoyable. Got to visit with the captain and see the ship wheel and equipment...
– Jean C., TripAdvisorLast Fall my spouse and I entertained in-laws with an enchanting evening cruise on the Chief Commanda II. While the craft itself has decidedly northern "workhorse" qualities, the staff were most gracious. With the setting sun on the west and the moon on the east, the route on Lake Nipissing provided a lingering memory of the ending day and a languid beginning to a most pleasant night.
– John L., TripAdvisorWhat a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon crossing Lake Nipissing and into the French River! We had a fun lunch on the boat and there was even great entertainment to listen to inside the boat when we needed a break from the sun. Lots of seating inside and out on the upper deck. Will definitely take another cruise!
